We have extensive expertise in
liver diseases and in the pathways and proteins residing in
the liver that are involved in certain metabolic diseases. Specifically,
we believe our robust pipeline of novel small molecule drug
candidates demonstrates the productivity of our two proprietary
discovery platforms, HepDirect® and NuMimetic™, which
we have used to develop our current product candidates and which
we expect to use to expand our product pipeline in the future.
